Our brand of turf, "Turfmaster" available in Soham, Cambridgeshire

At Cambury Turf, we grow our own cultivated turf which we have branded as Turfmaster. Turfmaster is a utility / landscape mix, a 15-20% dwarf rye grass mix. Turfmaster is suitable for high quality lawns, a good year round colour and a fine looking sward that establishes quickly and recovers with ease from everyday use. This is due to the percentage of creeping grasses present, i.e. smooth stalked meadow grass and fescues. We have a fertiliser programme in place to ensure turf is of a continuous high standard.

Included in the purchase of our turf, we offer:

• Irrigation of turf fields during dry periods to ensure root growth continues
• Standard harvester turf rolls 1sq metre (600 x 1640).
• Bigger rolls, including supply and lay service for larger areas available
• We also offer Drought tolerant Turf / RTF Turf (Rrhizomatous Tall Fescue)

A few pointers on keeping your turf looking ideal:

Turf is a living plant and the shortest period of time from lifting to relaying is essential, as is watering. Not enough water and your turf will shrink and brown at the edges. We always advise that you obtain a garden sprinkler to ensure your fresh turf will be watered thoroughly.
Keep traffic off - the fewer people or animals walking on your new lawn the better, just for the first two weeks. It will give the turf a chance knit down into the soil.
All turf orders are supplied with a "How to Lay Your New Lawn" leaflet. This should be a help for any general questions you have, but please feel free to ask our drivers or contact us for any advice.

Larger turf orders have the option of a forklift unload - please ask for the availability of this service when ordering. All deliveries are by our own transport and drivers. Our turf is also available for collection from our site if ordered in advance.
